charischarisOur Goals For 2007

Each year we establish goals that we aim to reach as a Church. This year our main goals are:

To build and create more small groups

To incorporate a Discipleship Stream to Charis for the mentoring of new Christians

To develop our ‘Making Sunday’s Special’ plan

To recruit two interns from September 2007

To see our Parent and Toddler Group ‘Bubble’s fully supported in their work

To look at funding opportunities for further developing our work with Children and Young People

To change the name of our Junior Church to Charis Kids

To plan and run an interesting and fun social diary

To explore Mission as a lifestyle

To run ‘Charis: 100’. With plans to see the congregation increase numerically to 100 people

To see 300 young people attending our youth and children’s work over 3 consecutive
weeks by July 2008

To plan a weekend away

To launch ‘Love Clifton’ as a new concept for the community

To see our worship team grow by two new members

To purchase some new equipment for the Worship Team

To further enhance the value of our Charity Shops

To develop our new website to include more interactive features and video streaming

To work in partnership with Enthusiasm, a youth exclusion programme based in Derby

To run development and training opportunities for new leaders

To work in partnership with the City Church

To run three ‘Seasons of Prayer’ at Charis

To run the Natural Church Development programme at Charis and implement its findings as part of our commitment to health and quality

To work on developing areas of our building that needs decoration or refurbishment

To stay open to new ideas and opportunities as we aim to be led by God’s Spirit
